A conversation at the bus stop with a homeless man, I saw someone anchored in pain.
It was disquieting to watch how in our conversation he retold moments of perceived injustices, emotional and otherwise.
Like this man, I have been stuck and couldn’t get past my victimhood.
I chose to stay down, retell and feed my misery.

Change in Perspective.
Discernment, choices, and change were born in these “Oh, Po’ Me!” moments.
Choices activated opportunities to change the viewpoint of everything and became the difference between being miserable and loving what is.
